Box Wine Reviews by Wine Spectator!
Boxed wine has had a lot to celebrate lately! Wine Spectator magazine recently reviewed several Californian boxed wines in their October 2009 issue. This is pretty historic because up until this issue, boxed wines have not been reviewed by the magazine. Wine Spectator is famous for their 100 point wine rating scale. Any wines receiving 85+ points are considered very good by the magazine’s standards.
The article mentions the increasing growth and popularity of boxed wines amongst consumers. Some of the reasons they site for consumer’s change in attitudes towards boxed wines include; wineries putting better quality wine in bag-in-box, boxed wines’ value, and the ability to keep wine fresher longer.
Here is Wine Spectator’s list of top rated boxed wines and their accompanying scores:

The Bota Box 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon is really good. I can attest to that.
