El Prado
El Prado is a popular wine label of the Lozano family owned Vinedos Propios Winery. Lozano´s dedication starts with the land itself and grape selection, constantly carrying out rigorous controls and monitoring to access the moment of ripeness and harvest. Varietal and winegrowing tests are carried out continually to improve the quality and establish the character of the wines. The bodega boasts the very latest technology and every stage of the winemaking process is strictly controlled from the reception of grapes through to fermentation and bottling. Bodegas Lozano was certified ISO 9002 proficient in 1999.
The bodega comprises of 6000 225-litre barrels of both French and American Oak of varying toasts to provide a touch of personality to our wines. The stock of barrels is constantly renewed , so that none of the barrels used are more than 6 years old guaranteeing continuity, cleanliness and consistency of style.
