How long can I store boxed wines before opening?

Boxed wine can be stored, unopened, for nine to twelve months. Be sure to keep your unopened boxed wines in a cool dark place, like a closet or cabinet.

I have a box of Merlot 2005. Is it still good?

    Hi Willie,
That wine is probably past its prime. The best way to tell if your boxed wine is still good to drink is to check the “best if consumed by” date code on the box.

Or, if there is a production date on the box, a white wine is good within 6-8 months and a red within 10-13 months.

    Hope this helps!

    Cheers,
    Ryan
