Black Box Central Coast Cabernet Sauvignon Tasting Notes
We craft our Cabernet Sauvignon primarily from grapes grown along California’s cool Central Coast. Full-bodied, yet smooth and easy-drinking, this wine offers lovely blackberry and cinnamon spice aromas and a sumptuous palate of dark berry, dried cherry, vanilla and toasted oak flavors, culminating in a soft, full finish. It’s a great Cabernet for accompanying roasted beef or dishes with full flavored sauces.

My review: Solid representation of flavor. Rich finish. Hint of blackberry and currant.
I’d recommend!
I had this at a party recently. This is the first red wine I have actually enjoyed
I’d recommend as price is around $20.00
Lots of fruit on the nose. Lots of explosive plummy fruit right up front, mid-palette weak, almost no structure, easily drinkable.
I’d recommend this wine. I’m not an expert in wine tasting, but I found it nice and smooth, very drinkable and an exceptional value for it’s price.
Love this wine…We were looking for a wine we could open and have just a glass with a meal or as a night cap without having to spend a lot on a bottle that will go bad if we don’t drink it all. This is a great choice…bold but smooth.
Recently I had a box (Black Box Cab) vs. bottle wine tasting party, tasting 4 wines ranging from the box ($5.00 a bottle) $10, $20 and $30. The $30 was picked by just 4 people out of 16. The #2 best was the box.
Love the way it can be stored. Tucked away on a shelf.
I use this as my house wine. Flavorful, without being harsh on the palette. And best yet, I get a good wine for a $1 a glass. That makes drinking a glass of wine each day possible and enjoyable.
Very suitable for nearly any table. Extraordinary flavor for such an inexpensive full-bodied wine. What is noteworthy is the shelf life post-pop. One might also consider the Merlot.
