Bota Box Merlot Tasting Notes
This lovely 2006 Merlot has a soft nose of plum and dark berry fruits with oak and spice nuances. On the palate the wine remains true to our style with fruit forward flavors of cherry with a hint of vanilla and toasty notes. The finish is smooth and well-balanced making this Merlot supple and easy to drink.

My wife and I bought this wine last week and loved it. It’s really drinkable and because we bought it in a box (and not a bottle) we got a great value on it. I’m going to have to try Delicato’s other varietals now…
This stuff is pretty darn good I have to say. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a nice Merlot for a good price.
I did not like it.
I brought this to a friends wine tasting party. Served it in glasses, everyone raved about it’s drinkability, even the wine snobs…They were shocked to learn something so good came from a box….
The wine in the box not only saves me money, it lasts a really long time. Merlot is my favorite wine in box.
I only tried the wine in the box a couple of times and I would say that is just as fresh as out of the bottle.
