Freshness and Inventory

Boxed wines by designed are to be sold and consumed quickly. The nature of boxed wines is such that wineries, distributors, and trade accounts are moving inventories rapidly. It is important to note that you must provide on the box packaging either a “Boxed/filled/packed on” date or a “Consume/use/best by” date.

Like other fresh products such as beer (and of course dairy and juices), working with your warehouse staff and distribution partners can keep your inventory in proper rotation.
The freshness date can be used as a marketing benefit to your
customers, assuring them of the freshest wine!

Please note that Scholle Packaging strongly recommends a “Consume/use/best by” date to provide the maximum useful information to your supply channel and consumers.
